I enjoy coming to this NoFrills! I tend to wait for good deals from Flipp as Beaumont is a bit of a drive, but this store is very clean & organized.
I go out of my way to shop here. Always some serious sale items. Friendly staff, short waits at the checkout. Also I love taking the free boxes instead of bags. We had a bad experience with some steaks a few years ago, so docking a star for not getting a response to my formal complaint.
Very confusing layout and somewhat expensive compared to grocery shopping at Walmart. I couldn't find certain groceries my mom wanted to get like mayonnaise. I asked a worker where I would find the mayonnaise and he had no clue. I found it under salad dressings rather than in the condiments aisle. Chicken breasts were extremely expensive.
I love going to no frills for the prices... However today half of the stuff on sale for 1$ and 2$ they didnt have which is disappointing as I drive out all the way from the southwest.The front end manager said they dont do rain checks for stuff that they are sold our of... which is disappointing as a customer. I have 2 small children so I dont have the time to drive out there again.
I'd gone here twice when we first moved to Beaumont and wasn't impressed, switched to Walmart when it opened. The Walmart has become terrible, so I decided to try the no frills again. I'm really glad that I did. The selection in comparison is amazing. Great prices, I'm spending way less on groceries. It has everything I need. I hate bagging my groceries and I hate the loonies you need for the carts. But you can't have it all.
